Honestly not a great reply there Matt.
I've used RocketTheme since 2009. FW114's post is clearly a customer who is frustrated that templates aren't being updated to latest PHP and Joomla codebases, no development on new templates for a VERY long time and no clear communication from RocketTheme as to what the future will be.
This has resulted in many customers, myself included, moving away from RocketTheme, as your templates are no longer compatible with my hosting package which uses newer versions of frameworks like PHP and Joomla which breaks the templates. I'd like to continue using RocketTheme, but there is a distinct lack of communication between the company and its customers which doesn't foster the trust required to devote time to build a site using these old templates if they are no longer going to be updated or release new ones.
It's a testament to the satisfaction we felt in the past with RocketTheme that we do check back here semi-regularly to see if there have been any changes in the way that RocketTheme is working. We are all hoping that things turn around, that you start releasing new templates, using newer particles and css, and if possible, updating the old tempaltes to work on newer framework versions. However I admit that every time I check back here, I am less and less likely to ever use RocketTheme templates again as development seems to have totally halted.
You're telling your customer if you don't like it don't buy it. So that's what they're going to do. I don't see how that's a win for RocketTheme. We want you to win, we want to re-subscribe and use your products. But you need to be making new products and updating them.
