yes.. it did,,, but it has a big Emmulate 7 button on the tool bar...
forget it.. I went to my site with RT V3 installed and the moo menu is all caddywampus,,,, fonts do not show as they should and that png problem still persists..
though this is beta 1.. i am sure they will get it right ......eventually
really chaps my hide too.... I spent a great deal of time getting everything to appear the same in ie7 as all the other browsers out there... hope they update 8 soon
well at least the emulation seems to work heh.. i heard it doesn't pass acid 2.1 like it's supposed to, so there's obviously a lot of work to be done. Let's hope it just 'works' like opera/firefox/safari and is not another headache for us web developers.
yup,, but with MS statement last week that its war on open source is over,, its stopping being so oppressive to paying customers and dictating to business.. one can hope they have seen the writing on the wall (and that wall has google all over it).. that maybe finally they have learned to join the flow instead of trying to control the flow. and just get their browser up to standards.
I just installed IE8 beta. I use the replicant template for my site. Obviously using IE8 everything gets screwed up, so I switch to the IE7 Emulator. When using this emulator if you have a DVD movie ready to play the transparent bits on the template start flickering like bugs on a star trek Holodeck. It also effects transparent flash movies. Doesn't occurr if you only have IE open.
The good news is that since installing IE8 the programme I use for my leaderboards has started operating at least double the speed! ;D
