Is this normal??? Help! Problem in IE

Hi pals, is normal that when i load my website in internet explorer first loads the superior part (menu, banner and logo) and then it loads everything else but it takes a while because it loads it like a whole part, i mean i dont see the modules and content charging gradually i just see it all but it takes some time, seems like it charges everything and then it shows... i want to see how the things load because sometimes the users desperate because they dont see any advance
anyone else with the same problem or anyone there that could help me out!?? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
