To WYSIWYG, or not to WYSIGYG that is the question - what about the client?

    • Lot's of demo content in the RT designs suggest turning off your WYSIWYG editor so that it doesn't strip out code. I also have added my own little .js to some pages for image map rollover effects actually per my client's request.

Now they would also like to be able to update their own pages but between the javascripts and cool modules I don't see what pages they'll be able to modify. Plus if I turn it back on and forget I've done so, I'll strip it out myself when I go in to make an edit for them.

Is there a WYSIWYG that doesn't strip out code? How can I now teach my client to make simple updates?

      Thanks!

    • Thanks! I've played around with that a bit but will test it in earnest now on this site! Thank you for the link!
