RocketLauncher Not Working

- Or at least not like I think it was intended. I extract the files, upload the folder using Filezilla, go to www.mysite.com/template_directory_name/ and it takes me to the normal Joomla installation page each time. This is for Joomla 1.5. I'm not seeing the Rockettheme start page like in the Flash tutorial. And if I proceed with the installation, it doesn't have the template set as default.
  
  Is this how it should be? Please advise.

- Nevermind, I got it working. What through me for a loop was that the start page didn't look like what was in the tutorials. You may want to fix that. Some folks - like me - take stuff literally. ;D

- YEah it should have looked 100% like the demo... as long as you "installed sample content" during your install..

- I have the same problem as Zee. After uploading the files and going to the installer page it simply shows the normal Joomla install page and not the rocket installer page as shown in the tutorial....

- After the install go to the Template Manager ans choose your template.

- I think the RT splash screen was discountinued, no? Some of the old packages seemed to have it, but lately, I never see it, so assumed they stopped sticking it in there...

- Yes, it's gone.
  
  Threw me for a loop, too.
  
  I had expected to see the RL screens when starting the install on the latest templates but it looks exactly like a regular Joomla install.
  
  In addition, after the install the default Joomla template shows and the new template has to be chosen from the Template Manager.

- Thanks for the replies. When I go to install the sample data I get a "The XML response that was from the server cannot be processed".

  This may sound dumb, but did you try to go "back" one screen, then come in and do it again?
