Rockettheme.com - best theme club imho, but not easy to find as a joomla noob

Ok, joomla noob here. Still figuring this all out, and with these custom modules, it's making it even tougher.
But I gotta say, after perusing and even purchasing some memberships to joomla template clubs, rockettheme has the best, most innovative templates I have seen. Well done guys.
You all need to release more free templates, and I don't say this to to mean that you shouldn't charge or lose out on profit, but on sites like
http://www.bestofjoomla.com/
, you will get more traffic with the release of free templates, as that's the route us joomla noobs tend to take at first while we experiment. Just releasing 1 superb template such as Chromatophore or Hivemind would really bring in some new members.
Populous has a lot of downloads and is rated as popular on bestofjoomla, but as its listed as only compatible with joomla 1.x, and I think that scares off people. I myself would generally like to go with the newer versions of a CMS, even though so many modules/plugins are only available for 1.x, just because you know that 1.x is going to be phased out eventually. And Populous, although nice, doesn't really highlight your template quality. And templates with graphics like the one in Populous automatically turn off some people, as people are looking to do a variety of things with Joomla, and are often looking for a well-made template that doesn't necessarily have a particular use in mind, but something like Chromatophore or HiveMind have so many possibilities in what they can be used for.
One of the other template clubs I joined is
youjoomla.org
, they have nice templates, but each one is designed with a specific end use in mind. A total turnoff, unless you want to do a site that's specifically about movies, or music, or what have you.
That was $55 down the drain for a 6 month membership I will get nothing out of. Ugh.
Just an idea to toss out there, it took me a while to figure my way around the joomla community, and with the right exposure aimed towards those new to joomla, I really think it would increase the membership numbers, and allow us to save money by skipping over those template clubs that don't really offer that great of templates.

...sort of hard to find in Google, too; very strange. I searched for "Joomla templates" and siteground pulled up in the #1 slot with 2,900 backlinks and a PR7. RT has a PR8 (You da man, Andy) with nearly 19,000 backlinks (and "joomla templates" as a keyword in the meta tag)....and ranked #22?!
Now I know there are a myriad of factors that influence position, and were it 2,900 backlinks vs 3,100 or comparable quality, I would understand, but by ever conceivable measurement, RT should be the clear leader (at least over siteground).
Any SEO champions want to offer a hypothesis...good case study.
[edit] looks like traffic is driving the train heavily here...with siteground doubling the traffic of RT. Interesting.

tell me about it, not just siteground but many others rank higher than us for no discernible reason, eg joomlashine.com ?? they are #4 for me. I think that some sites use nefarious means to get higher ranks in google, steps that I'm not willing to stoop to.
