Question about the site name

- This is probably a easy question for you, but it's driving me mad lol.
  
  Can someone tell me how to remove the word 'Home' from the beginning of my site title? see the image below
  It isn't in the site name in global configurations.

- go to you menu options in the admin section
  select main menu
  select the menu called home
  on the right go to Parameters (System)
  and have a looky what is in Page Title (should be home)
  change to something else or delete
  hope that helped

- do you have Show Page Title set to no?

- I have that set to yes, but when i change that it doesnt change the title at the top of the browser it changes the title at the top of the article on the home page.

  Page Title: Electric Circus - techno, electro and house music for Ireland
  Show Page Title: no
  
  dont want to be spamming my site but so you can see it working

  make sure the menu you are selecting is Articles » Front Page

- What template are you using?
  
  In some of the RL installs, a Front Page Blog layout menu is not used, sometimes 'Home' is the name of the of a static Article for the Front page.

- Look for the article that is on the Front page and check its title.
