Hmm...I wonder what the RocketTheme team has been up to?

    • 1024x768 and I got to it by hanging left as far as I could. This is an extremely nice template. The color chooser makes modifying a site so incredibly easy. Way to go Andy!

    • yah.. the pagecurl was added at the last minute for demo purposes, it's not part of the actual template so was not tested as such.

    • I just want to stare at it for awhile and soak it all in :) However, I assume "so now that you have a new template, you are just going to sit on your @$$ all day and do nothing?" means my wife wants me to do something around the house. Perhaps I'll order a pizza and vacuum...should buy some time. ;)

I have had dreams of using VIII since I joined, using that bad mamma-jamma for my most elaborate, data-driven site...but as with every month, well, you know. :)

The color chooser is hardwired. It's a VERY complex bit of javascript and has to know about very specific aspects of the template. Also the template has to be designed upfront with this color choosing ability taken into full account. It's simply impossible to have this kind of feature on 'any' template, so a module is really out of the question.

It looks like the color changer is hard-wired into the template? Or is it a module published up there, much like the control panel in VIII?

Andy / anybody. Is it possible to remove the color changer from the template? Its a fabulous feature, but I just don't want my site visitors fiddling with it - I want them to read my site ;-)

You may have covered this elsewhere, so forgive me if I have missed the post.

      Many thanks, as always!

      In index.php:

      $enable_colorchooser = "false"; // true | false

    • Doh! Thanks Yves.

Do you happen to know how to remove the black background that is left behind when the color chooser and login module are removed (unpublished in the login module's case)? I have disabled the color chooser, and unpublished the login (SignalLogin) module from the top module position, but the black background remains. Should the module position not collapse if it is empty? Any clues?

      Thanks

...comment out the #topbar section in your template CSS?

I would ask template-specific questions over in the template-specific sections, as this thread is for us to get mentally prepared for the upcoming template releases, usually about 72-hours before showtime! Your bumping this thread set me back about 2 weeks in my RT Anonymous therapy. The shakes have returned.... :)
