Hi there,
If there was a weeks supply of coffee in the room it would be full and we would be on the outside!
Books - never have much time to read them as we are too busy writing the new books. Funnily enough the bookshelf reminds me of those shelves in big houses where they have all the encyclopedias, except the books here all seem to have titles that start "Geeks Guide To...."
What makes us tick? The ticking sound comes from the new keyboards - they wear out quickly here
Looking around the room I see lots of perspiration and the odd twinkle of inspiration. I guess Andy harvests the inspiration and rolls it all together then mixes it into the coffee.

Definitely helps
I noticed that a lot of you are spread around the country - are there different offices dotted around or do you guys primarily communicate via Skype and other online means? Which of those do you prefer anyways, something like Skype or only communicating via a staff forum of sorts? Reason I'm asking is that I'm organizing a group where we're spread around and I'm curious how other people manage not being in the same room all the time when working on a collaborative project.

Hi there,
Bit more than spread around the country - we are spread across the globe.
We tend to use HipChat on the Mod side of the equation and the Dev Team use it too but you need to be Uber Geek with special passwords and big brain to get access to that room
I'm not sure what other magic software they have tucked up the sleeves of their coding wizard gowns though.

HipChat is like IRC 2.0 and highly recommended. Skype might be useful for screen-sharing, voice and webcam stuff. - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.

Given it's a short month and the 1st falls on a weekend, is the plan to release the new toys on Monday, or do you anticipate getting it out the door on time?
Hopefully we'll see the new RokWidgets releasing this spring!

Weekends are tough, people have families, lives, and other non-RocketTheme specific things going on. Also Fridays are a notoriously bad day to release because a) Not many users are around, and b) Not many RT staff around to address any major issues.
The plan right now is to release on late Sunday or early Monday US time. -
