      I added joomla to a folder in the root dir as I had to leave the current site working, now I cannot find info on what I need to do to move joomla to the root now that am ready to delete the html site. What is the best way to do this? If I backup the site and sql won't I still have a path issue? What I want is the joomla to work from the root simply put.

    • Move all files to the site root.

      Then update configuration.php with the new path in $live_site, $log_path and $tmp_path.
