    • Hi,
      how do I change the 'Welcome to the Frontpage' title in the Joomla preset templates?
      I searched for something like this:<title>Welcome to the Frontpage</title> in the source code but no title tag was included.So I tried to add it on my own:<title>Welcome to Mypage</title>
      It works fine on Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey,but when I load the page in Explorer the welcome message appears in the page body,although I've put it in the 'head' section.

    • to change the WELCOME TO THE FRONTPAGE problem do this:

      Go to MENUS ---THEN CHOOSE MAIN MENU once you are at MAIN MENU double click the HOME button/link --- once open go to the left and choose the parameters (system) -- there you will see the page title and you can modify it to whatever you like.

      Hope this helps took me a while to figure it out too.
