Frontpage keeps on blanking out

- Hi I am not sure the problem is becoz I am on local server. But i noticed when I change the module position, or edit something, my frontpage blanks out. I tried it on 2 templates and it is still happening. Are other people having the same problem?

- turn on your notices in the global configuration of joomla. Should give you a display of what's going on.

- You have to give more information, Joomla version, which templates, what extensions you have installed, does it work with default Joomla template, php info

Hi sorry, I have joomla 1.5.8. PHP version. =5.2.3. Extensions: CB, fireboard, Groupjive, swempromenu, jomcoment. I am on localserver.
I was using Beez template and I had no problem. I was using the Beez template for about a year now but decided to join the club and try out the rockettheme template. Now, I am having problem.
At first I tried to use Populus, and now I tried another another template MetaMorph v2. In Metamorph template, all tried to add more module style to the modules in the CSS files, and the frontpage just blanks out everytime when I tried to edit something in the file. The error message i got when I turn my debug system on -

So, it seems like it is having conflict with the Groupjive? I am using the groupjive version that is compactable with joomla 1.5 - Last Edit: 16 years 6 months ago by .

- Now I turned off the core joomla menu module i out put on the left side and the frontpage came back. It seems like the joomla core system is in conflict with the template. I have core joomla menu module, swempromenu and joomlaimagemenu extension. I am thinking that might be the conflict. So, to avoid conflict, i should maybe use the build-in menu rockettheme has, but I can't seem to output on the left side without using another extension for the menu

- well the sql error you posted is from groupjive "jos_gj_options" so I would actually think it's related to that as the error says "uknown column".

- I found the error. My menu modue (core joomla) is in conflict with the Menuimagemenu, so the template blanks out. I fixed the problem. Thanks.
