How can I accomplish this with Joomla?

    • Hello, I'm fairly new to Joomla and I've been playing around with it for a few months. I have uilt a couple sites with it and am encouraged by what I've found. There is one thing that really eludes me, however. Please take a look at the following link and see how the article has a photo and what appears to be a module below the photo with "related" news.

      www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/12/ ... 2726.shtml

The text of the story wraps around the photo and module. How do I do this in Joomla? I've seen ways to add a module into an article in Joomla but what really eludes me is how they have the text wrapping around the photo as opposed to just having the photo and module inserted into a break in the text.

In addition, I'm also at a loss to figure out a way to include a toolbar between the title and the article body. As you can see, the "email story," "print story" etc. tool bar is inserted between the article title and article body. I have no idea how to accomplish this.

In short, I really like the way this site has its articles formatted and I wonder if someone might take a moment to point me in the right direction to make this type of layout possible for my article sites utilizing Joomla. Thanks in advance for your help.

    • Brett, the link was not complete, so I couldn't take a look at the page.

      Could you re post it?

In the meantime, to answer one of your questions, you should be able to adjust the properties of the image with your WYSIWYG editor. (See attached screen shots of Tiny MCE)

You could also try JCE (Joomla Content Editor).

You can also create the page in your favorite HTML editor and past the code into the Article of Module in HTML view of your WYSIWYG editor or turn off the editor in Global Configurations and paste it in that way.
    • Thanks,
