Hi
Finally just getting started on learning web development and I love Joomla! and Rockettheme. I actually have a question about favicons. I am familiar with getting the icon up and running, but I notice some of the larger companies have an expanded favicon, where it is larger, has a background color and also spells out the name of their company (for e.g. look at Mozilla's). How can I get that type of favicon loaded? Many thanks.

I am not sure if I understand what you mean with expanded favicon.
I looked at Mozilla.com and have attached a screenshot of what i see.
The favicon (the little red fox head) has the same size like any other favicon?
If there is a bigger one, I dont know it yet and will be happy to learn something new

Well, I am a little more confused, because for most of the occasions, you are right. However, when I went to install the Firebug FF add-on, I noticed the following in my browser. Maybe it is only for secure (https) sites?

- To get that big favicon you need to buy an ssl certificate for a pretty hefty sum... mostly they're used by big corporations.
