    • Has anyone ran into this before? Trying to add a user that has 2 dot in email ex: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. When trying to add we get the WARNREG_INUSE error?

      Have narrowed it down to the double dots was hoping for a work around.

    • What are you using for these emails? Regular Joomla message through the backend?

      Nonetheless, it sounds like you have a strict regular expression/php validation firing on the email field, so would have to tweak it a little to account for the possibility of a second dot. ;)
