    • I have a site up where several people have registered since the Login applet is on the first page. I don't have anything special for registered users yet but I am thinking of adding something.
      Is there any danger to allowing users to register?
      Is there any benefit to allowing users to register?

    • There's no danger to allowing users to register.

      Allowing them to register:

      A) allows you to capture their e-mail address if you want to send e-mail notifications, etc.
      B) allows you to set content, Articles, Modules, and Menus to Public / Registered so unregistered see 'standard' content and in addition to 'standard' content, registered users see content for registered users.
