- I have downloaded RobBridge and installed phpBB3 3.03 - Is RobBridge also part of the bridge? - If so i have gone to - www.rocketwerx.com/forum - is this where the info is or will it be added to this forum?

RokBB deals with template related issues involving custimazation and the Joomla menu.
RokBridge deals with syncing user logins between phpBB3 and Joomla1.5.
The two are separate and do not interact with each other. I do highly recommend using RokBB with your Rockettheme templates as it makes a lot of things much easier.

I ned to know how to install the phpBB3 Styles.
When you download a phpBB3 Style template is everything I need to install it within the zip file? If not why and what else do I have to download in order to install this template?
Also is the Rokbridge the only component that can be used with Rockettheme templates? JFusion just released ad update that I am using and you know what they say "if it ain't broke don't fit it"...
Again, what is the process of installing the phpBB3 Styles...?
RokBB3 is what? and where do I find it or download it?

In the PHPBB3 Club Download area, at the very top, there's a folder called
Administration Modules
. The module is in there.
I've installed it - but still can't figure out how to locate the configuration area for the template. I just want to turn off the color chooser. Has anyone had success finding where the config for a template is using this phpbb3 module?

While this post is still open I am thinking of installing PHPBB and joining the RocketTheme PHPBB club to install the Hybrid template. Before I do all of this I noticed that you also use PHPBB for your forum so would I be correct in assuming this would be the better choice than any of the other forums?
Secondly how complex is it to install the template and RokBB? Would there be support and detailed instructions for this? I have been searching around and it appears quite difficult!
Lastly I have Jomsocial, Joomla 1.6 and Hybrid. Would the Rokbridge be effective in using my members accounts? - Sometimes it's just not worth chewing the straps to get free!

phpBB3 and the templates from rockettheme are very easy to install. There are a few steps to take, but these are all documented very well.
phpBB3 is a great forum to use and can really do a good bit. I prefer it over others I've tried.
RokBridge is not compatible with Joomla 1.6 that I know of, so you would not be able to use this at the moment if you're running Joomla 1.6 currently. I'm not sure of the plans for this or a timeline either.
If a forum and syncing user accounts is important, you may want to consider using Joomla 1.5 which is more stable and will be supported for a longer period of time.
