    • FF3 is my primary browser but its a love-hate relationship. It doesn't like being awake too long as it gets cranky and slows down :)

    • james - have you added the 'clear memory on minimize' variable to your config? I added it and it helps.
      1. Open Firefox and go to the Address Bar. Type in about:config and then press Enter.
      2. Right Click in the page and select New -> Boolean.
      3. In the box that pops up enter config.trim_on_minimize. Press Enter.
      4. Now select True and then press Enter.
      5. Restart Firefox.

    • everytime you minimize the browser, it releases the memory it was using then when you maximize again it's not slow or using all the memory it was.

    • Robert: That is no real solution though. Besides i personally don't have the memory issues that Firefox and Opera used to have :)
