    RT's phpBB3 club is amazing

    • So I just joined the phpBB3 club. I know my way around phpBB3 enough to install it and configure the forum groups, but not much else.

      Well, this is how it went down after I joined:

      1. I downloaded rokbb3.zip, unzipped, and followed RT's directions on the Versatility template page to upload certain RokBB3 files to certain folders within my forum root.
      2. I downloaded the Versatility 4 template and uploaded it into my forum 'styles' directory as a folder.
      3. I refreshed my PHPbb3 admin, chose Versatility as the default template, and then found a RokBB3 link in my control panel sidebar.
      4. Clicking on that link allowed me to configure my board (plus have my main Joomla top menu bar over the forum menu) with a couple of clicks.

      Wow. So easy, and looks so damned slick.

      Hats off to you, Rockettheme. Top end templates with user-friendliness that totally negates an entire industry – website 'designers'.

      These days, when people tell me they're hiring a designer for hundreds of dollars an hour to mock them up a site (and then get a coder to jig it up online), man, I just have to shake my head.

      Joomla + phpBB3 + Rockettheme FTW! :cheesy:

    • Hi how can i find the administration panel of ROKBB3?I just installed the rocketheme mixxmag phpbb3 template and install also the bridging which is rokbridge next rokbb3. after that I didnt see the admin panel for ROKBB3 ..Thanks guys!
