    • Hi there

      I want to hide the hightlight part option when Author login to edit their article. How can I do these?

      the attachments show the hightlight part.

    • thanks Nancy! there are 3 main parts of the editor:

      1 editor
      2 publishing
      3 metadata

      I want the author can NOT change the Publishing settings. for example, they can't change the section and category of the article

      can we limit author in FRONTEND when he or she write, summit but can't change the property of the article such as section, catagory, show on Front Page and so on

    • What I did when I first started was I set up users calling them author, editor, publisher then logged in as that user to really get to know and understand what the options were. This helped much. You will have to use different emails so use This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., etc. Same for username and password. I think they can be the same, as in author, author.

      Don't leave these when you publish, obviously they would be really easy to figure out.
