    Rokbridge and Community Builder

Posted 16 years 4 months ago
    • I use Rokbridge to handle the PHPBB3 forums on a site of mine. I want use Community Builder (the new J1.5 native version) on that site. Realising that CB replaces the Joomla login with its own login module, I am now worried that the Rokbridge authentication of members will be damaged or will not work. Does anyone have any experience with this?

    • Hi John,
There are some posts on the rocketwerx.com forum specifically about the use of CB 1.2 and Rokbridge. I believe that you can find some answers to your questions there.

    • Thanks for that suggestion. I forgot that Rokbridge has a separate forum. It looks as though everything should be OK running all three together.

    • Within the phpbb3 forum there is another user that has experience with using Rokbridge, phpbb3 and CB1.2, he has also posted some code here on RT and on the rocketwerx site for joomla, CB and phpbb3. If you are interested, it may be a good idea to look at this topic here: www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=14...54176&rb_v=viewtopic

    • Thanks for that. We now have CB 1.2 and PHPBB3.0.4 and Joomla 1.5 running together. One login accesses all three password-protected areas, the CB and Joomla registered users database synchronise well. All is sweet so far!!! :cheesy:
