This may have been brought up before but there seems to be something broken with the 'Topic Reply Notification' feature of the forum.
Back in the RTv1 forum days, I used to get notification of a subject being busy again and it said in the email - 'No more notifications will be sent until you visit the topic.'. And this was indeed the case.
The notifications from RTv2 say the same but I get notifications even if I do not visit the topic. This means my inbox is filled with almost the entire thread.
Is this a bridge issue or something I can control? I don't want to unsubscribe from topics but I don't want an inbox full of new replies.

- That's just the way phpBB3 handles the notifications by default. It's different from the way smf did it and I think we are all used to the old way. I think i remember seeing some mod that supposedly fixed this, but i'll have to track it down.
