Hi - I have a client who wants to set up a Book Rental website so I was thinking about using IXXO Cart for J1.5 and was wondering what others experiences have been. From what I've seen in the demo and read so far it seems like an outstanding eCommerce solution. Although a little on the pricey side it seems to be well worth it.
If you've used it, was your experience good, bad, recommend it, use something else?

I gave Magento a try a few months back looked good and is released under LGPL from what I know. So there goes the 'pricey' part.
Don't know if it fits your requirements though. Good luck!

- ah, Magento doesnt look to shabby especially the price tag :cheesy: One of the main things I liked about IXXO was the integration with J1.5. I dont see where Magento has anything other than JFUSION.

IXXO CART - no good experience. Realy bad support. It tooks 4 weeks for the first reply after sending a ticket. Another 2 weeks to install the system on the server. No help at all 2 get an audio player running in an article. Joomla Slider, Accordion Menu,... these features are not workin in ixxo. I think the reason is, that mootools doesnt work. Would be nice to have the solution.
If u need a e-commerce system with a lot of features, without support, a minimal joomla bridge - go 4 it.
it would be the coolest thing 2 have a rocket e commerce system. this one would work 4 sure, cause u guys rock.
