Paragraphs won't wrap in IE

Hello all,
I have a problem. I made a website with the Equinox theme in Joomla 1.5 and recently discovered that the text in my articles in Internet Explorer weren't wrapping! Each paragraph just keeps going and disappears when it reaches the edge of the module position.
What's going on with this? Any ideas?

I found out what's wrong! but don't know how to fix it easily!
I initially put all these articles up just as text, then an editor went through and formatted it. She's on a mac and whenever she clicked tab it added "<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>" in the HTML. I went through and deleted each of these on an article and wala! It worked! So does anyone have a solution to either make this little piece of code compatible with IE or an extension that can search and replace article HTML text?
