Hi,
I want to learn how to make my own Joomla templates, but I haven't had much luck finding any tutorials etc. I've had a look at the Joomla wiki and found some information but not sure.
If anyone could help it would greatly be appreciated.

May be, some dreamer idea, somewhere in the future, an e-learning courses for template making, but also php, html, css, Joomla etc. courses online wold be a good solution?
There are some people in the World who make websites. Some make them also on Joomla. And some have a feeling that it would be great to look more deep inside Joomla and webmastering.
Of course the day has 24 hours and it is obvious that Rocket teem has rather no spare time, but...
Besides, some solutions of a "Community" sort. Something a little bit more than this forum.

I also have least knowledge about php from all moderators. I know something about php: PHP has letter H inside and 2 letters P; one to the left and one to the right of letter H.
And in this way, I know more than some 3 billion people in the World about PHP.
Those 3 billion never saw a website, not to mention Joomla, especially Rocket Template.
When we say about Rocket, I've heard they say that there is life on Mars. Then, the first what occurs to me is to ask them if they have IE there and why it is the worst browser, and When they are going to start experiments with Joomla. That would be wonderrful if they could connect their internet to our.

There is no simple road or task in creating a Joomla Template. You need to have good knowledge of, just to start:-
- HTML
- CSS
- PHP
- Designing!
You need to build your skills up, best by modifying our templates or even checking our free templates as they are pretty simple. It takes time
