    • Hi,

      Are there specific recommendations for migrating to a newer version of joomla when using rocket theme templates? It appears that the migration wiped out many of my rocket files - fortunately, I have a back up. For example, if I compare the new components folder with the previous com folder, there's alot missing.

    • hi mark,

      usually a joomla update will only replace joomla core files, not template files.
      what was your previous joomla version and to which version did you update?

      which rockettheme template files have been wiped out?

    • Solved. Instead of extracting the file on my computer and uploading to my hosts server via ftp - which not only overwrote all folders and their contents, I uploaded the patch via the Cpanel and followed the instructions on the joomla.org site. Worked!
