Header breaking up with IE7

Hi I have a number of site running both element and versatility templates i still have other templates and site to do, the problem is people are complaining as they see the headers broken up i.e. not in line, when asked it appears that during teir auto update from Microsoft it has updated their browser to IE7. All other browsers show the site ok but not those in IE7.
As this is going to mean thousands will be updated to IE7 shortly through the auto update from microsoft, has anyone got a fix that will make the element and versatility templates or others correctly in IE7
I think this is going to be a major problem for all future template.
Any help with this problem would be appreciated
