    Joomla!+BB3 Club question

Posted 15 years 10 months ago
    • hello there.

Im reading tru the site trying to understand the right procedure for this, but I feel Ive overlooked something so Ill make a couple of direct questions

      1. is BB3 club completely independent of Joomla Club? when I signed up for Joomla Club I got the permision to use up to 3 templates, but I understand those cant be say 2 joomlas and 1 BB3? what can one do then to integrate a joomla-BB3 site, pay also to belong to both clubs even if it means the basic membership of BB3? there is no posibility of upgrading or combining both memberships?

      2. to make the Joomla-BB3 work, what is the main general procedure? install joomla in the main domain, BB3 in a subdomain, cloak both with the "same" template design, and then use rok-bridge to comunicate the users of both sites? Im guessing transition then tween both sites would be visually smooth and unadverted?

      tx for your kind help
      Alex

    • tx for the reply, Jem.

I thought it was like that, but its not written clearly anywere so I wondered. I will contact support as you suggest.

Im still wondering why, as they are obiously designed and geared to be used togueter in those beautifull templates, isnt there a way to bridge the payment? Im guesing people would like to see something like "1 joomla template + 1 BB3 template to match = x dollars" . if they see they have to pay for them separatly, and buy in the minimum of each club before they can get started (50 x 2 = 100USD), havent u created too big a first step so they shy off?

Anyway, my thoughts, Im happy to do it, RT has the best templates and support Ive ever worked with. I hope all new visitors realize in time too :cheesy:
