    • I'm new to RT and just installed my first Mynxx template. I'm trying to figure out how the whole showcase system works. I can pick apart the CSS to change my main image, but I know there's alot more to it. It's shown as a module in Joomla, but i can't find it on RT's list of modules.

      There's no talk in the Mynxx forums, and nothing in the Mynxx support area.

      Any help would be great!

    • I should also mention that i'm not sure if Showcase is a general RT module, or a template specific, so I'm posting this in the General Discussion.

      With that, is there a "RocketTheme" for dummies overview or tutorial. I'm a "novice" with Joomla with only 2 other "basic" sites developed. But, brand new to RT.

    • I think the showcase is more a module position where you can plug in a module. In a lot of templates, that position has special styling. You can put pretty much any module in the showcase position. I've seen a lot of people use rokstories in that position. At least, that's how I've understood the showcase thing.

      As far as a RT for dummies overview, make sure you check out the tutorials section. Good stuff there. And if you have a question or need help, just keep posting. This community is generally fantastic at giving help.

      the showcase module position is as mark mentioned a normal module position which can be "filled" with any module. it does have a styling different to most of the other module positions but mostly this can be changed if needed.

      actually in the mynxx template, there are showcase1, showcase2 and showcase3 module positions as seen in the mynxx demo site demo.rockettheme.com/apr09/index.php?opt...icle&id=50&Itemid=59

      mark also mentioned the rockettheme tutorials which you can find here

      there are also tutorials on each demo site, for example the mynxx tutorials...

      there is also further explanation on all the included extensions for the specific template in each demo site.

      for each template you can also find a pdf tutorial in the template download page at the bottom.
