Wrapper auto height option does NOT work!!!

Hi all,
I've used a wrapper to display a sub site of the same domain. The auto height option is enabled. The wrapper changes the height automatically when the sub site's homepage is first loaded. However, if I click on any links on the sub site, the wrapper size stays the same, even though the height of the sub site content is now much smaller. This causes a lot of empty space at the bottom.
Any ideas how to fix this issue?
