Help Needed w/Module Installatoin

I am trying to install a module to get shoutcast server info onto my template.
When I try to install I get the error
Failed to copy file: /var/www/vhosts/radiomaxx.net/httpdocs/joomla/administrator/components/com_installer/module/mod_shoutcastextended/winamp.gif to /var/www/vhosts/radiomaxx.net/httpdocs/joomla/modules/mod_shoutcastextended/winamp.gif
I have checked all my permissions and they seem ok.

hi
you can try to upload the module the manual way (uncompress first) with an ftpclient... or is it possible that the group permisssion on your server are owned by the httpd daemon? (wwrun)

- I have been uploading it manually because I could not get it to workt he automatic way. Still, I have to upload the php and xml documents into the com_installation/module directory and then hit the install button. This is when I receive that error. I have tried manually copying each item by hand to the location where it would have been placed had the installation succeded, but that did not work because the module never appears on my list of installed modules.
