    Transferring Joomla install from one folder to another

    • Hey guys,

      Just hoping to quick confirm I'm doing this correct.

      I'm transferring my joomla installation from /public_html/testing to /public_html/

      When doing this, all I need to do is transfer all the files, and then make sure the urls are correct in the global configuration settings, correct? And then everything should be good, no?

      Anything I'm missing?

    • sounds like it should work.

      BUT: back your entire site up first!!!!!

      I use joomla pack and its really frictionless!!Back it up first and that will ensure if something goes wrong you can unpack it into the new folder with the kickstart script
