I am unable to see the index file which is necessary for the site to show up
Please make sure that you have the files intact in root directory
Also, You can do server side extraction for the rocketlauncher package if using cpanel:

1) Clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect

As Prim mentioned when you install the template, on screen 6 of the install you need to click on 'Install Sample Data'.
Also, at this point, seems you're not using an RT template.
And, as Aman suggested, you can upload the Rocket Launcher package and extract it on the server.
