Fusion Menu - What makes it stay out

Hi,
I have made an amendment to the fusion menu (removed .level2 .drop-top {
display:none; ) and added a custom graphic -
This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.
My issue is that when the mouse is in between the menu and sub menu the menu flicks on an off because the mouse is not over the sub menu,
my question is does anyone know how I can remedy this and where the code would be to keep the menu out on mouseover so that I can apply it to the additional image I have added? Or maybe suggest a better method?
