    Google Analytics Code Embeddig

    • Hi There,

      I'm a newbie and before I get stuck in to using my first RT theme, I wonder if anyone could just assure me how easy it is to add Google Analytics code into each page's footer. I'm used to this being very easy in my WordPress themes but not sure how this works with Joomla CMSs.

    • Extensions > Template Manager > (Current Template) > Edit HTML

      Scroll down ! Just before the </body> Tag, Add the script. I think that should work. 8)

    • An alternative is to use one of the Joomla extensions that do it for you. You set up the account in Google Analytics and then paste the number into the extensions admin screen. At the risk of promoting one particular extension, I have used the BigShot one - has worked well for me. :D
