Two Installs of One Template on a Site

Is it possible to install a second copy of a template so that I could set one to, for example, style1 and set the other to style2 and then assign menu items each of these templates.
It would be a way of getting a slightly different feel in one part of the website.
Is this possible or do I need to setup the page class suffix thing?

If you are using one of the newer templates with the fusion menu, then it is even easier:
