  • Equinox template menu

    • My Equinox rockettheme template has 2 menus (one is horizontal, and the other is vertical) and both menus are showing the same links. How do I separate the menus so I can use each menu with different links, and drop downs.

      is it possible that you are using the splitmenu at the moment?

      please check in your joomla administrator
      > extensions > template manager > equinox > menu type... if it is splitmenu, then please change it to "moomenu".

      then check the following:
      > extensions > module manager > mainmenu > position = set to "toolbar"

      then create a new menu:
      > menus > menu manager > NEW > call it for example "leftmenu"

      then create some new menu items for this "leftmenu":
      > menus > leftmenu > NEW >...

      then make sure to publish your new menu to the left module position:
      > extensions > module manager > leftmenu > position = left
