• Hi,

I know this is just a joomla related questions, but I have been wondering if there is a way to change the menu titla/ adding new menu from the frontend using an extension?!

Thanks,

• I never heard about it. I think you can only add and edit the menu from the backend. You only can edit the article contents from frontend

• Hi Finly,

I have actually found an extension what does almost what I have been looking for. This might help other people as well:

http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-production/content-submission/9838

Now, I'm looking for something else.

is there a module that would be able to change template from the front end permanently?

Thanks,
S

Wow, nice found Siki. I never know this extension before. Regarding to the template change, do you mean like style changer (style1 to style2..) or template changer (for example from Mynxx to Affinity)?

• Happy I could help. :D

I'm looking for a template changer, e.g. from Mynx to Affinity. The main purpose would be that it stays the selected template and doesn't revert to the default one.

Cheers,
S

• Good point, but I would solve this with having only 'similar' templates, meaning almost the same module build. This way they can change basically just the look ... and that's what I would like.

The first link. I tried it and you can have only the template saved as a cookie, what's not quite permanent if somebody else would visit the site.

Second link: I didn't work too much with it, but it still wouldn't enable the front end admin to change it permanently.

Third one: I can't remember it but I know I had a play with it and didn't work. I will have a look at this one, since not sure ....

Thank for your help,
S
