Putting Virtuemart Template inside my existing template

- I am using the Infuse template and couldn't use the store that it came with so I purchased a virtuemart template, it says I should make the new template at the default, when I do this will this erase what I have on my Infuse template?

- It will not erase it, but it will look probably like a big mess since module positions differ per template.
