Flash Uploader Issue..

Dear Community,
I am having a problem with a site i am just migrating to a new vps. Just downloaded into my XAMPP with joomlapack and it seems as if all ways for uploading images from the frontend and backend dont want to work.. Problem not happening with the site live in the current VPS!!!
As soon as i select the image button at the bottom of the editor "browse file" "start upload" and "clear completed" buttons seem to be stuck..
I ve downloaded a few different backups from the past few weeks in VPS server soon to expire and all seem to have this problem once the are on my XAMPP.
I ve tried overwritten all the files with a new joomla 1.5.15 to try overwrite any possible corrupt files, i ve tried changing some of the setting in global configuration, i ve tried installing other editors, but no joy and now i am just banging my head against the wall!!!
The current domin will be pointing to new IP over the next 24 hours and i am afraid of migrating a site that is not going to work !!!
Anyone have any ideas on what might be going wrong or thing i should try do to fix this??
Please get back to me as soon as you possibly can quite desperate here

Seems as if the problem is with the flash uploader. So strange that its currently working on the current VPS and not on the XAMPP i hope it works again the the new VPS and its some only due to some permisson issue i can figure with the XAMPP.
Current workaround...

Seems as if photo upload doesn't really work with Flash uploader disabled in jomsocial, myblog, and other so it might leave me no choice but to disable some functions in the future if this problem goes on..
