did i miss the announcement about templates no longer coming out the first of the month or should i switch to wordpress to get priority? :shock:

The templates do not have a strict release date , ie 1st of the month. Sometimes an extra day or so is required.

Don't beleive the hype, this is a well known Joomla bug in how it handles sessions and counts users
This is not really representative. Better to use the count on the bottom of the forum.

Did you take any time off during the holiday season?
Are the team members humans or robots?
The templates are released 99.9% of the time on time.
And if you get it during the holiday, exactly what will you do with it if your clients are enjoying the holidays?

seriously take your time, i guess we got spoiled with the service here.
i originally wanted to settle this thing we do every month where you feel pressured which probably leads to mistakes and more updates.
if you said next template won't be out until jan 3, i think most of us would go back to work and let you do your thing.
but again this is good for traffic rank and time on the site LOL.
and no Man, no time off at all in fact i worked until 7am today, but we'll catch a break soon i hope. - Open House 24

About 100 templates to choose from and all progress is dependent on the NEXT template...

What's worth having is worth waiting for....
I originally wanted to settle this thing we do every month where you feel pressured which probably leads to mistakes and more updates.
So, you feel it's better to get a template on the 3rd, than get a 1.5.0 template on the first and get a 1.5.1 on the 3rd? (Then a 1.5.2 on the 5th, etc.?)
RT feels the same way.... the team and the mods do their best to thoroughly test the template before its release but with two back to back holidays, family obligations, time zones, etc.... the January template is always a squeeze.
Not to mention, each month the templates get more complex, and each year the coding and technology improves - making it easier for you the end user, but more complex for the developers.
Imagine having to do 40 days work in 30 month after month...
Let us do our jobs, shake out the bugs, get the updates done and release something that doesn't have to re-released two days after the launch.... which would of course make people angry.... "I already started my site with the xxx template and there are a lot of bugs, don't you test these themes before you release them?", "I have my site set up and now I have to update my template..." - Thanks,

so let's change topics and have a happy one.
did you guys noticed most new site or clients are gearing to video and clean rounded edges sites with big text and short paragraphs in order to acomodate the instant satisfaction web users we have become? - Open House 24
