    Looking For A Joomla Solution

Posted 15 years 3 months ago
    • I figure that Rocketthemer's have a wide spread knowledge of what's available for Joomla. I have to admit that I haven't explored every single extension and component since it's become huge. I don't want to be overlooking a simple solution for the following:

We want a site that will be for contractors in the home renovation industry to upload their company information and bios along with a gallery of their work. The difference between this and a social community site is that the individual profiles are not meant to be available to a public or registered community per se but it is meant to populate a catalogue which needs to be search-able in the back end by specific criteria such as geographic location, type of specialization, etc.

I'm currently poised for this to be created from scratch and I don't want to reinvent something that might already do this. If you know something that I should be looking at before we go this route please let me know.

    • Thanks for the reply, I'll spend some time looking at SOBI2.

If anyone has an opinion on SOBI2 I would like to hear it. 8)
