Yes it is still snowing here. Ony 2 inches today. Just enough for me to fire up the shovel and sweat a little. I can't wait for spring. Our parrots are getting depressed!
Oh, Alex Cross is a D.C. FBI agent who worked his way up starting out as a metro D.C. detective..
....and he is a fictional character created by my favorite author of all time. I read the 1st book in the series and can't put them down!

I forgot to wear my gloves today. Boy, were my hands cold. I should wear my gloves - well, they're actually gardening gloves, but I'm sure they would be warmer than none at all. They'd just look a little funny with corporate casual.

I musta missed this earlier, Dave. Job move?
Had some friends who live in D.C. area some years ago. They said their 5 miles commute could sometimes take an hour and a half.

I now know why you added the hat recently. Did you get that in San diego? Must of been real cheap as there is not much use for it there.

It was a gift for my move to the cold environs of Washington DC, but, it will be summer soon and if anyone has a summer hat to donate to my cause, I'd be much appreciative!
