Kinetic and Storefronts ... anyone tried it?

I'm looking to upgrade my hobby website with a new storefront and template, and figured I'd try Kinetic (loved January's Gantry template ... used it for 2 of my corporate sites already) but before I started into it I was wondering if anyone has hooked up any storefront/shopping cart software with it, and if you had recommendations and/or stories to share on how best to go about it?
At this point I'm open to using any "non-commercial" storefront package as long as I can make it work without too many changes using a Joomla Gantry based template, and it can handle my product option requirements.
