Best Method For Changing Database Name and User for Joomla?

What is the best way to change the name of the Joomla Database and User when you already have a template installed? Is this possible? I finally have everything working, and I'd hate to screw it up by not doing this correctly.

If you use Akeeba as suggested you can change this during the install process.
When you get to the page for the username, password, database name, the original info will appear as default.
Simply type in the new info to match your new username, password, database name. - Thanks,

I'm sure there is but I don't know the exact process....
You could search or post on joomla.org.
It might just be faster (and simpler) to run the install again.
