    • Hey Everyone.. I'm new to the Rocket Themes forum, and I'm making a site for my wife who is interested in selling Cookies and other baked goodies. Her Name is Angel, so I came up with www.bakedbyanangel.com , now I'm just trying to decide which of these wonderful themes to use. Suggestions would be appreciated. I have currently done two other Joomla Sites, so i'm getting more and more experienced as I go... Thanks in advance

Maybe the lighter version of Vortex with a customised...possible yellow/golden colour scheme....could look fantastic!

    • I'm definately thinking Yellow/Gold/Brown maybe like an autumn like color scheme. I'll mess with it. As for right now, i just have the new raw installation up, keep checking back.

    • Just an opinion, it's up to the customer. My perception of "dark" themed sites is always that of gaming, music, bands, etc. It never makes me thing of business.

Look at all of the major business sites on the net. All of them are whites, light colors, lots of white space.

    • that's actually what she's looking for. My idea was darker, Reds, Golds, Yellows... hers is Bright... Yellow, Baby Blue... So that's what I'm working around. I put up the dark bento box on there before she got home, as soon as she saw it she was like "uhh... no" lol

    • Your wife is correct. I would suggest a brighter and more cheerful site. Color and shade has a psychological effect on folks - especially for buying. If you are trying to convince someone to buy, brighter is better. It gives an image of the company you deal with. If you look throughout the web, most online stores are bright.
