advise about uploading to Godaddy

Hello All,
I'm new to Joomla and RocketTheme, I would like to know if someone has some helpful advise on how to upload to Godaddy. I tried the FTP on godaddy, but it didn't work. I also watched the video on how to do it??? Still didn't work like the video.

Go Daddy can be tricky. I host there and use a module called AkeebaBackup (formerly "joomlapack") and a php script called kickstart and it works like a charm. Both Akeeba and Kickstart can be found here:

and they're free.
