    style sheet question

    • If I have a reason that I need to combine all the style sheets so that a single url can reference all the information would this be detrimental to anything?

    • I don't think that's there's any reason for or against combining the style sheets. The separate style sheets just help change colors, but if you know you're set on a particular style, go for it.

    • Yeah, if you've decided on a style and stick with it, it won't make any difference.

Just make sure you paste each stylesheet into the main one in the correct order - that is, the order that they are loaded in from index.php.

      Out of curiosity, why?
Is there another reason apart from the obvious organisation point of view? Does that have a an effect on performance / speed?

I saw some websites who load the background (or header) first before displaying everything else. I find it nicer than when a bit is ldisplayed at the top right corner while the rest is squeezed at the bottom left one lol! Is it how it is done?

    • That's layout stuff you're talking about; nothing to do with CSS.

To be honest, with most of the RT templates it probably won't make that much difference, but the reason is so that the sheets you paste into one big sheet follow the cascade correctly.
