  • Will Joomlapack transfer everything over to new domain ?

    • Hey all, right now with my hosting plan/company, my primary domain folder is (eoceanstore). I also have a couple of other domains (folders) WITHIN that same public_html folder. I'm thinking of dropping the one (eoceanstore) as a website totally, It didn't get the results I was looking for. This means that all the other domains that are within that public_html folder I have to reassign to they're own IP address.

      This is where JOOMLAPACK comes in. Since I have several video files within my new site (PATRICKM) that are regularly referenced, as well as, the template being customized, I'm trying to figure out the best way to transfer over that site to a new IP address without losing the current structure of that website.

      I guess what I'm asking is, are there any crucial steps to transferring a site to a new folder/IP address so as to minimize rebuilding the site.

    • JoomlaPack was the old name. You should look at www.akeebabackup.com/ :)

      But yes it should backup your site completely.
