    How to link to a Section Layout

      Please let me know how to link a word on an article, to a Section Layout (like you do in menus).

    • There's no automatic way to link words in an Article to a Section, but you could create hyperlinks from words in an Article to a Section using your WYSIWYG editor.

      You could try using JCE (Joomla Content Editor) which has a nice linking feature which helps you to link to to Sections, Categories, or specific Articles.

      If you are wanting to link to a section this way should help you.

      First you need to create a hidden menu (Articles » Section / Blog), so make your menu title: "Hidden Menu"

      Publish the menu and click your new menu link, get the link and then add this link into your article

      The trick here is not to publish the menu module so the hidden menu stays hidden but because you have a active menu made in the backend it will still display the Articles » Section / Blog page. which then will display a list of articles from the section you made.
